Current status

Not enabled

Secure Notes and Trusted Contacts can now be encrypted locally with AES-GCM and a PBKDF2-derived key. Satomi never stores the passcode, Recovery Keys, or private keys.

Providers

Read-only provider status

Development only

Mock by default. Testnet read-only by explicit configuration.

Satomi can manually refresh Bitcoin testnet public address data through the approved Blockstream Esplora endpoint when live testnet mode is explicitly configured. Ethereum Sepolia uses a server-side proxy architecture so provider credentials never enter client-side code.

Checking a public address through a network provider may reveal that your device is interested in that address. Satomi does not send your Recovery Key or private keys.

Satomi routes this public-address query through its server to protect provider credentials. The query is not anonymous and may still reveal address-interest metadata.

Privacy Statement

Satomi is built around privacy without compromise. This prototype stores data locally in your browser and does not connect to a backend or blockchain.

Self Custody

Satomi does not custody assets. Future wallet functionality will be designed around user control, explicit confirmation, and clear Recovery Key responsibility.
